Dan is a well-known anti-Theist and has written many books and engaged in many debates. We had Dan on the show to discuss his involvement in the upcoming Reason Rally event in Washington D.C.. Sye Ten Bruggencate from proofthatGodexists.org and Luke Pierson from Apologia Church also joined us.

We get into a discussion with Dan about why he as an Atheist (who believes that we are cosmically no more than ants or brocolli) would want to promote reason. Sye and I engage in a dialogue with Dan about whether or not his Atheism can give him a foundation for reason, morality and science.

This February, Dr. Richard Dawkins and Dr. Lawrence Krauss joined forces at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, Arizona. They met to have a lively discussion on the topic of “something from nothing”– which is an essential part of Krauss’ newest book (A Universe from Nothing). The house was packed and the energy was high.

Vocab Malone (Backpack Radio) and I were in attendance to listen to what was expected to be a very interesting discussion. After attending the event we determined that we needed to do a radio program on the event and some of the underlying issues. We could think of no better man to have on with us to confront Dawkins & Krauss than Dr. Jonathan Sarfati from Creation Ministries International (Creation.com). Dr. Sarfati wrote a fantastic book refuting Dawkins called “The greatest hoax on earth?”.

This show is fantastic! It needs to be shared. If you get an opportunity to hear this show or to listen to the actual lecture given at Gammage you will discover that these militant anti-thiests are not satisfied with discussion and debate- they deny that there is even a debate at all- they want your universities, hospitals, politics and… your children.

Last week well-known anti-Theist Christopher Hitchens died and went to meet his Creator. Christopher Hitchens was truly an amazing man. He was an immensely gifted writer, speaker and wordsmith. He was someone that could melt your heart on the one hand and force a violent reaction on the other. He was a person created in the image of God and is worthy of our love and concern. We acknowledge the fact that he was at war with his Creator– but, that is precisely where all of us would be without the gracious act of God opening our eyes to see Jesus and the beauty of the Gospel.

What should be the Christian response to the death of Christopher Hitchens? How did he help us? How do we respond to hispositions and those of his Atheist devotees?

I interview our special guest Douglas Wilson who is a well-known author/pastor/theologian and Christian Apologist. He has debated Dan Barker from the freedom from religion foundation and he and Christopher Hitchins had a very well-done movie made about their debate tour called “Collision”– you should definitely pick-it-up.

In this broadcast we look at the issue of eschatology or the study of last-things otherwise known as end-times stuff. What we say may actually shock you. Doug wrote a great little book called “Heaven Misplaced”. I share the same view of end-times as Wilson (postmillennialism) and it is not very common but I believe is the most faithful to the text of God’s Word and will excite you and change your view of the future.
